Washtub Gully

At Washtub Gully (along the Benowie Track) there is a collection of aboriginal rock engravings next to a small creek in a very nice, cool shady spot. This collection shows three fish and a bird, probably a seagull, carved over the upper fish. There is a very similar engraving at the Moon Rock site.

This is another engraving of a fish.

This carving shows an animal, perhaps a large possum or a quoll. Unfortunately the head section has broken away.

There is a fish painted inside an overhang right on the river a few steps from the rock art. Look up!
